INFO: APA comments on HHS Draft Framework on Alzheimer's disease

I wanted to share the comments APA sent in response to the Draft Framework of the National Plan to Address Alzheimer’s Disease last week:  http://www.apa.org/pi/aging/resources/alzheimer-comments.pdf.    Psychology was totally overlooked in this framework.  We hope the next iteration of the draft and recommendations ultimately made to the HHS Secretary for the National Plan to Address Alzheimer’s Disease by the Interagency Group on Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias, and the Advisory Council on Alzheimer's Research, Care, and Services will be better.

There is STILL time to submit comments on the draft framework http://aspe.hhs.gov/daltcp/napa/Framework-Draft.shtml.  Comments can be sent until Feb 8th to  NAPA@hhs.gov.
