INFO: Opportunity for Fellows to Participate in Project on Aging Education

Dear Colleagues,

Postdoctoral fellows are sought to participate in a geropsychology educational project funded by The Council of Professional Geropsychology Training Programs (CoPGTP) (PIs: Beaudreau & O'Hara).

Goals:  1) To identify gaps and areas of need in the geropsychology training of clinical research fellows. 2) To inform the development of specialized geropsychology research didactics.

Eligibility:  To be eligible, psychology fellows spend all or part of their fellowship time engaged in clinical research.  They also must identify aging or geropsychology as a primary or secondary area of interest.  

Participation: Study involves completion of a survey and a brief follow-up interview with a geropsychology research assistant (total estimated time: 60 minutes).

Incentive: A copy of the book "Effective Clinical Interventions in a Life-Stage Context: A Guide to Psychotherapy and Aging" or Fellows' choice of another book of equal value ($20.00).
