JOBS: Postdoctoral Positions in Cognitive Neuroscience of Memory

Postdoctoral Positions in Cognitive Neuroscience of Memory

We have openings for two postdoctoral fellows in the laboratory of Prof. Roberto Cabeza (www.cabezalab.org) at the Center for Cognitive Neuroscience of Duke University (www.mind.duke.edu). The positions may start any time between November 2012 and August 2013.

One postdoctoral fellow will focus on interactions between memory, vision, and attention, and the other on the interactions between memory and emotion.  Within these broad areas, the postdoctoral researchers will have the freedom to design their own studies. Available techniques include fMRI, DTI, ERPs, and TMS. fMRI scanning is conducted at the nearby Brain Imaging and Analysis Center (www.biac.duke.edu).  fMRI methods incorporate functional connectivity, representational similarity, and multivoxel pattern analyses.  The positions include ample RA support and collaborations with graduate students and faculty at CCN and BIAC.

The ideal candidates will have (1) a background in memory, vision, attention and/or emotion, (2) experience in fMRI and/or ERPs, and (3) a promising publication record with at least one first-author paper. Send a CV to cabeza@duke.edu by 10/31/2012.
