JOBS: Cluster Hires at FSU in Acquiring and Maintaining STEM Expertise

To make a very long story short, Florida State University is in the process of trying to improve its standing as a public university and has put together a mechanism, Pathways of Excellence,

http://pathways.fsu.edu/ to try to build its base of faculty. Part of that process involves getting proposals from faculty for cluster hires. I'm part of a group dealing with "Acquiring and Maintaining Science Technology Engineering, and Math (STEM) Expertise Across the Lifespan". We are at the second stage of the proposal process. Thirteen of the original set were asked to prepare a second stage application, with about 6 expected to be funded. Our group would like to identify possible candidates who would fit with that theme. Cluster hires usually involve about 6 people, a few senior, and the rest mid-level and junior. If you or any of your students might be interested in this possibility, please let me know.
