Assistant Professor, Life-Span Development Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa

The Department of Human Development and Family Studies at Iowa State University invites applications for a tenure track assistant professor position with focus on health and life-span development to begin August 2006. The responsibilities of this position will include developing and maintaining a program of research related to health and life-span development as evidenced by publications and external grant support, teaching and student supervision at the undergraduate and graduate level, and contributions to the collegiality, reputation and day-to-day operation of the department and the university. Required qualifications include earned doctorate in human development with emphasis in life-span development or equivalent qualifications, evidence of research and teaching skills, and publications in scientific journals.
