Just wanted to let everyone know that Division 20’s Executive Committee voted to recommend reducing dues to $20/year (from the current $44), and just $12/year for students, which was passed by the membership at the business meeting (see attached). We accomplished this by eliminating Psychology and Aging as a member benefit, but those who want hard copies can still use their APA journal credit to subscribe to this outstanding journal. This was a difficult decision, and one that we’ve debated for some time, but keeping membership up is essential to making certain that your interests are adequately represented at APA.
So – pass the word! Join Division 20! Our new slogan is: $20 for 20! J
I’ve enjoyed serving the Division during this past year. Thanks to members of the EC for all of their hard work! The new president, Pat Parmelee, will do a great job keeping your interests at the forefront of APA.
