                              Assistant or Associate Professor of Human Development and Family Studies
                                                      (Two Positions)
                                                   Iowa State University

The Human Development and Family Studies (HDFS) Department seeks two dynamic, innovative, and enthusiastic colleagues to join a multidisciplinary faculty. We are seeking two individuals who will enhance the synergy that already exists in the department, who are dedicated to high quality research and teaching, and who can bring a strong commitment to obtaining external funding. Areas of specialization for each position are open. Position responsibilities include research in human development and family studies, seeking external funding, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, and advising Master’s and Doctoral students.

Doctorate in Human Development and Family Studies or related field is required. An appointment at the rank of Associate Professor will require an established record of scholarly publications and external funding appropriate for a research university dedicated to its land-grant mission.
