JOBS: University of Kansas, Life Span Institute

Research Asst, Life Span Institute (LSI). Full-time design and analysis specialist for the KU Center for Biobehavioral Neurosciences in Communication Disorders (BNCD). Duties: primary liaison to the scientists of the BNCD. Assist Center investigators with (a) conducting statistical analyses of multivariate-longitudinal data; (b) preparing grants and reports; (c) learning about advanced techniques. Required qualifications: Masters degree in statistics or quantitative methods by the time of appointment; expertise in longitudinal analytic methods; Exp w/statistical consulting; computer literacy with PC-based platforms and primary statistical analysis packages (SPSS/SAS). Eff. verbal/written communication. Preferred qualifications: Doctoral degree in statistics or quantitative methods; Exp in the analysis and conduct of behavioral sciences research; Exp and training in advanced statistical methods; Exp and skill in using advanced statistical software.
