Hello Division 20 students and postdocs,
We want to let you know about some wonderful Division 20 student and postdoc events planned for the upcoming APA convention in San Francisco. On Saturday, August 18 at 5:00 p.m. we will be holding a conversation hour with Dr. Jeff Elias, former Chief of the Cognitive Aging Program in the Behavioral and Social Research Program at the National Institute on Aging (NIA). He will discuss how to identify and obtain funding in gerontological research, as well as provide useful tips for writing and grant preparation. Immediately following this event will be the annual Division 20 student and postdoc social hour. Come join us for free cocktails and appetizers at the Thirsty Bear (661 Howard Street,
