JOBS/STUDENTS: Postdoc sought for "Language in Aging Brain" Lab

Post Doc sought as Project Manager for the "Language in the Aging Brain (LAB)" project (www.bu.edu/lab),affiliated with Boston University School of Medicine (BUSM) and Boston VA Healthcare System. We seek an experienced researcher and lab supervisor to join our NIH-funded team studying the roles of health and cognitive function in age-related changes in language. Duties would include day-to-day management and contributing to the overall scientific mission of the project.

Expertise in language sciences (including neuro- or psycho-linguistics) expected; experience in cognitive aging, neuroimaging, minority recruitment, and/or bilingualism a plus, but not required. There are opportunities for collaborative research with existing projects and centers at BUSM, Harvard, Tufts and the Boston VA, including the Aphasia Research Center, Alzheimer's Research Center, Normative Aging Study, Memory Disorders Research Center, and the Geriatric Research, Education, and Clinical Center. Annual salary up to $40,000, plus benefits. If not US citizen, must have appropriate permits to work in US for a minimum of 2 years.
