With support from a National Institute on Aging conference grant, the Scientific Research Network on Decision Neuroscience and Aging (SRNDNA), Washington University in Saint Louis, and Springer Publishing, a small conference focused on mechanisms of motivation and cognition across adulthood and old age will be hosted May 2nd–4th 2013 in Washington DC. The SRNDNA will offer up to 15 travel awards to support attendance by junior researchers (priority to graduate students and post-docs but research scientists and junior faculty are welcome to apply). Travel award winners will receive priority for poster presentations at the conference. Full speaker list will be posted on the website soon.
The network will significantly offset travel costs. For the majority of attendees the conference will be completely free. Priority will be given to individuals whose research is focused on development and aging or early life decisions that affect late life outcomes.
Complete information and application materials are available at the following website: http://www.srndna.org/events/momcai2013/
Please complete the application and email it to training@srndna.org by Thursday November 1, 2012. Travel award winners will be announced by December 10, 2012.
