Information and the video of last week’s briefing, Building the Mental Health Workforce for America’s Diverse Aging Population, is included on the APA website and is featured in APA Access advocacy updates. The Public Interest Government Relations Office (Drs. Nida Corry and Diane Elmore) organized and sponsored the briefing with AAGP, NASW and ApA. It was well attended by Congressional Staffers, federal agency representatives, and others who stayed past its scheduled 1:00 pm end time!
