ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE/FULL PROFESSOR

The University of Florida's Department of Clinical and Health Psychology in the College of Public Health and Health Professions invites applications for two full-time, tenure-track positions at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor rank. The ideal candidate is expected to be the leader of a nationally or internationally recognized, externally-funded research program in one of three major areas of specialization within the Department (1) pediatric/clinical child psychology; (2) health psychology; or (3) neuropsychology/neuroscience. Researchers in these areas who focus on biopsychosocial aspects of drug dependence or infectious disease prevention are encouraged to apply, though other areas of study also will be considered. The successful candidate would be comfortable within a Scientist-Practitioner culture, be licensed or license-eligible, and have active interest and skills in program development and collaborative research in a dynamic College environment that includes both Health Professions and Public Health disciplines. Duties include some combination of teaching, clinical supervision, and research mentoring in a highly ranked, APA-accredited PhD program in Clinical Psychology. Requirements include a PhD from an accredited program in Clinical Psychology. A record of exceptional mentoring and scientific and scholarly achievements is essential. These are 1.0 FTE, 12-month positions, with an open start date.
