Good morning,
As you may know, Drs. Cameron Camp and Paula Hartman-Stein are presenting a webinar on February 8 entitled "Appropriate Use of CPT Coding in Treatment of Persons with Memory Impairment." A recent announcement in the APA Monitor on Psychology incorrectly listed Dr. Camp's email address. If you're interested in signing up for the seminar, please contact him at cameron@cen4ard.com<mailto:cameron@cen4ard.com>.
As a reminder, Dr. Camp and Dr. Hartman-Stein will discuss revision of current procedural terminology coding for psychologists, which presents both a challenge and an opportunity. Especially for geropsychologists, this is a chance to apply new evidence-based interventions for persons with dementia and related disorders as billable treatments. Use of spaced retrieval, external cues, etc. will be emphasized in case studies and role playing. Time for Q & A will be provided at the end of this overview.
The webinar, which will be presented at a nominal fee of $25, is tentatively scheduled for 1pm EST. Continuing education credits will be available through Division 20. For further information on CE credits, please contact Dr. Shevaun Neupert, Division 20 Education Chair, at sdneuper@ncsu.edu
Apologies for the typo in Dr. Camp's email address!
Regards,
Pat
