The Institute of Psychology invites applications for the position of the Chair for Developmental Psychology (Full Professor, salary W3)
We seek an established researcher with broad research expertise in human development across different parts of the life span to head the Chair of Developmental Psychology. Your group is expected to teach Developmental Psychology in the Bachelor of Science in Psychology as well as the Bachelor of Arts (i.e., Psychology as a minor). In the Master of Science in Psychology programme we expect contributions to all three course specialisations.
You are expected to show a distinct profile of academic leadership, with international publications in core areas within Developmental Psychology, as well as a track record of substantial independent grant funding. You will be expected to contribute to research priorities within the Institute of Psychology. We also welcome your commitment to postgraduate education. Formal requirements for appointment are those according to § 77 ThuerHG, as of 21.12.2006, including a postdoctoral lecturing qualification or equivalent achievements in research and education.
