This morning Dr. Richard Hodes, Director of the National Institute on Aging, sent a note requesting public comment on NIA's draft "Strategic Directions for Research on Aging" document. Click on the NIA Web site at http://www.nia.nih.gov to access the PDF of the draft plan. It is important that psychological scientists weigh in on NIA's strategic plan. APA encourages you to comment individually, and instructions are available about providing your comments to NIA. I'm asking that you share your comments with me (pkobor@apa.org) as well, since I will be developing comments from APA. NIA needs feedback from scientists and professionalassociations by the end of June. I would ask that you send comments to me no later than Monday, June 25, 2007.
