Psychology of Adult Development and Aging
The University of Florida, through the Department of Psychology currently has a strong group of faculty mentors in the Psychology of Adult Development and Aging. Our unique program combines multidisciplinary exposure with strong disciplinary grounding in lifespan psychology. Feel free to contact any of the mentors below for further information! · Graduate Certificate in Gerontology option in addition to Ph.D.
· Funding: all students receive funded teaching assistantships and full tuition support
Additional financial support includes eligibility for:
· Year-round NIA research funding and tuition support (T32; renewal award pending)
· UF Presidential Awards, and Grinter Awards, for incoming doctoral students
· Goldman One-year dissertation fellowship
· Goldman annual student research scholarships; Goldman summer research funding
· Research assistantships through grant-funded faculty
· Travel awards to present your research at national and international conferences
· Gerber Annual Developmental research award for best student paper or poster
