For the past few years, the Editorial Board of JG:PS and the publisher Oxford University Press have been exploring ways to increase the impact factor of the journal. We've made a lot of progress with OUP's help in straigtening out some technical issues about the way articles in the journal get cited.
We have come up with a variety of speculations about issues that might affect potential authors' choice to submit their best work to JG:PS. I am now coming to you with a survey (link at the end of this note) to help us get a sense of what your perceptions are of the journal and factors that affect your decision to submit to JG:PS or send papers elsewhere.
Pleaseake a few minutes to fill out the JG:PS survey. Your answers are anonymous. I'll only see the responses without any identifying information such as e-mail addresses. You may get requests from other lists that we're on, please respond once.
Thank you!
