Department of Psychology, Lehman College, The City University of New York, invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant level. Salary range: $68,024 - $71,073 dependent upon credentials and experience. Preferred area of specialization is: (1) developmental psychology with a focus on adolescent, adulthood, or aging, or (2) industrial/organizational psychology. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to publish in peer-reviewed research journals, establish a program of research that integrates non-traditional, multi-ethnic undergraduates into that research program, and evidence of effectiveness in teaching. In addition, the candidate will fully participate in the life of the department and serve on committees. Efforts to seek grant funding are strongly encouraged. Candidates are expected to have a Ph.D. at time of appointment, a record of publication in peer-reviewed journals, and teaching experience.
