The Department of Psychology seeks applicants for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level in Developmental Psychology. Area of specialization is open, but preference will be given to research interests in the area of adult development and aging. Teaching responsibilities include undergraduate and graduate courses in developmental psychology, including one or more of the following: Adult Development and Aging, Adolescent Development, Lifespan Development, and Educational Psychology. The developmental area has 7 faculty members who are committed to providing a lifespan perspective. Qualifications include a Ph.D. (or ABD with Ph.D. imminent) in developmental psychology or closely-related field and a record and promise of developing a strong program of research. The position begins August 16, 2009. Salary is competitive.
