THE UNIVERSITY OF LOUISVILLE, LOUISVILLE, KY. The Department of
Psychological and Brain Sciences at the University of Louisville
invites applications for a full-time, tenure track position at the
Assistant Professor level beginning July 1, 2008. We seek a
colleague whose program of research bridges clinical and experimental
sub-disciplines of psychology and has the potential to complement
existing research within the Department

candidates with expertise in emotion and affective science,
developmental psychopathology, or aging, or those whose research
incorporates neuroscience perspectives, broadly defined. Preference
will be given to candidates with ability to teach graduate
statistics. Successful candidates will have a completed Ph.D. by
July 1, 2008 and are expected to contribute to undergraduate and
graduate programs and to maintain an excellent record of research
productivity and external funding. The Department offers Ph.D.
degrees in Experimental and Clinical Psychology (APA-approved),
maintains a research-based Psychological Services Center, and serves
a large undergraduate major. Salary and start-up funding are highly
