Submission Deadline: November 16, 2012
Division 20 (Adult Development and Aging) of the American Psychological Association invites submissions on topics related to the 2013 presidential theme of “Aging in place in the 21st Century” identified by Division 20 President, Dr. Patricia Parmelee. Submissions are invited in the form of symposia and posters; individual paper submissions will not be programmed.
Submissions are solicited on topics related to the person, environment, and culture. Some of the topics of special interest on “aging in place in the 21st century” include (but are not limited to):
- The role of technology
- Women and gender issues
- Neighborhood influences
- Contextual and environmental influences
- Residential transitions
- Life narratives
