Visiting Faculty Position, Department of Psychology, University of Richmond
The Department of Psychology at the University of Richmond invites applications for a full-time one-year visiting faculty position (sabbatical replacement) for the 2009-10 academic year, beginning in August 2009. We seek a candidate trained in COGNITIVE SCIENCE and/or COGNITIVE PSYCHOLOGY, who can teach at different levels of the curriculum including an advanced undergraduate seminar, a special topics survey course, and a foundations course in statistics and design. The teaching load is 4-4 (with two or three course preps). Class sizes range from 10 to 25 students. Evidence of strong teaching skills is required.
Applicants with Ph.D.s are preferred, but ABDs with strong record in undergraduate teaching will also be considered.
