Biostatistics Faculty Positions
Temple University’s College of Health Professions, Department of Public Health, is recruiting tenure track and non-tenure track biostatistics faculty in the area of applied biostatistics. The existing programs of research and the teaching mission of the Department provide opportunities for collaborative, interdisciplinary, community-based, and translational research through associations with faculty and students in the Department; in addition to members in the Centers for Intergenerational Learning, Obesity, and Cognitive Neurosciences.
Temple University, based in Philadelphia, PA is a Carnegie I research-intensive, urban university with 17 schools and colleges including campuses in Rome and Tokyo. The College of Health Professions includes the departments of Public Health, Communication Sciences and Disorders, Health Information Management, Kinesiology, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Therapeutic Recreation.
Candidates should hold a doctoral degree in biostatistics, statistics or a closely-related discipline and evidence of effective teaching on the collegiate level. The tenure-track candidates should demonstrate a history of obtaining external funding and/or extensive publications in their field. The position involves scholarship through applied biostatistical research, teaching in the MPH, MS Epidemiology and PhD in Public Health programs, and biostatical support within the Department. These positions are open rank and open track depending on the experience of the candidate.
