Assistant Professor (Tenure-Track) Psy.D. Program Child Psychologist and Associate Director of Clinical Training
The School of Professional Psychology (SPP) at Pacific University, with campus space in Portland, Oregon and Hillsboro, Oregon, is seeking applicants to fill a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in the Psy.D. program beginning on January 1, 2008 or July 1, 2008. SPP, an innovative School of Professional Psychology in a wonderful location, has an APA-accredited Clinical Psychology Program, its own Psychological Service Center, an APA-accredited Internship Training Program, and excellent hospital affiliations. The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical psychology with expertise in child psychopathology and its treatment. Duties include teaching on an 11 month contract, assisting the Director of Clinical Training, advising students and mentoring theses and dissertations. Courses to be taught will include child assessment, child treatment and child psychopathology. Each core faculty person at SPP has developmental funds and a graduate assistant.
