Last year APA issued the PENS report, on the role of psychologists in military interrogations. Recently the American Psychiatric and American Medical Associations have issued position statements on this issue. For the July/August Monitor on Psychology, Stephen Behnke, Director of the APA Ethics Office, has written a column comparing and contrasting the three association positions. Given the level of member interest in this issue, the column is available now on the APA website (http://www.apa.org/) -- see top feature on the home page.
